Chief Executive Officer

Tony Benedetto serves as the chief executive officer of both the NASW Assurance Services, Inc., and NASW Insurance Company, Inc. which provide various benefits and services to members of the National Association of Social Workers.

Prior to joining NASW, Tony held various leadership positions with Fortune 500 companies such as Citibank and GE Capital. At Citibank, Tony led the Revenue Services group working across various Citi divisions to generate income. While at GE Capital, he was Vice President of the Partnership Marketing division and managed affinity programs. He also spent time with a start-up venture as head of Business Development for 1st Webbank.com a division of Sovereign Bank. Additionally Tony served on various company acquisition and transition teams during his career.

Tony has an M.B.A. in Finance from Mount St. Mary’s University and a B.S. in Business Administration from The Ohio State University. He completed experienced leadership training at GE’s Crotonville Learning Center and is certified in the Six-Sigma Quality program.

Tony currently serves on the American Society of Association Executives’ Insurance Company Board, NASW Assurance Services, and Assurance Services Insurance Company Boards.
