Deferred Renewal Payment for Policyholders
As the Preferra Insurance Company RRG, formerly NASW Risk Retention Group, continues to take proactive steps during these unprecedented times, the well-being of our policyholders is our highest priority. We understand the challenges that many are experiencing, and we are committed to making sure our valued policyholders have the support they need.
The unfortunate reality is that many of our policyholders may find themselves facing financial difficulties in the coming weeks and months. Therefore, we have put provisions in place to allow extra time to renew your liability insurance policy while still maintaining your coverage.
We are committed to ensuring that no policy will be canceled because of non-payment during our national state of emergency period of March 11, 2020, through June 30, 2020. And as a valued policyholder, we want you to have peace of mind knowing you will not have a lapse in coverage if you are struggling.
60-Day Deferred Renewal Payment – To support policyholders who may be experiencing financial hardships, we are extending your renewal payment date by 60 days if you need it. This extended renewal period applies to policyholders with expiration dates in April, May, and June 2020. Your renewal premium is not being waived but extended by 60 days, starting from your expiration date. And your policy dates will remain the same.
